Every individual on earth is born with certain instincts.The Urge of Pleasure in an individual is an instinct by birth.
Pleasure can be grouped under 3 category:
1. Physical pleasure involving the senses
2. Mental pleasure involving the mind
3. Supreme pleasure involving the soul
Basically,Physical pleasure is the manifestation of Mental pleasure itself.The basic difference b/w them is in form of ideas.Ideas r purely a mental process involving the mind.Ideas r the ground of each & every activity of an individual.
Ideas r guided by instincts,experiences & the knowledge acquired in the process.
In ordinary people,ideas r guided primarily by instincts & experiences.The knowledge acquired in the process is almost absent & they cannot clearly differentiate b/w right & wrong ideas.So in the process of action they remain in sort of a dilemma but finally they act according to the urge of physical pleasure.
The process of Pleasure commences in 3 steps;
1. Initial urge of pleasure for enjoyment
2. Main urge of pleasure for satisfaction
3. Final urge of pleasure for confirmation of enjoyment & satisfaction.
The Mental pleasure oriented individual has an instinct to reason & through experience he finds immense pleasure of mind & through the knowledge acquired in the process he can differentiate clearly b/w right & wrong ideas & then select 1 in accordance of his choice.
In worst forms the urge of Physical pleasure produces an uncivilized creed such as alcoholics,rapists,murderers etc.who cause minor but considerable social disorder.
In best forms it gives a civilized layman.
In worst forms the urge of Mental pleasure produces a highly corrupt man,a terrorist & all other terrible criminals who cause major social disorder.
In best forms it gives a scientist,a writer,a thinker & other such intellectual creed who contribute towards the welfare of society.
The urge of Pleasure strengthens by repeated & periodic activities with the concerned idea & with the passage of time it becomes a character of that individual.
For the transformation from a ordinary human to a superhuman requires shifting of pleasures: 1st from Physical to Mental & then from Mental to Supreme pleasure.
At the supreme or ultimate level wisdom becomes the guiding force which is the essence of all knowledge attained.This is the case with enlightened personalities.
The determination to succeed is the key element in life.A person who can understand the importance of activities going around him deserves to succeed in his life.Ups & downs r bound to happen in life & no one is born perfect but the urge for perfection differentiates a great man from the crowd.
Life is not to mourn for the past but to prepare oneself for the bright future of tomorrow.
Future should be more meaningful from the past & the best opportunity to achieve this objective lies in the present.
